Mobile VRLab put a VR-ready computer and its own screen into a portable case, built to travel to meetups and demos. Between August 2015 and June 2017 VRLab designed four generations. The Gen II developer station and the Gen III operator station were offered for sale in 2015, the Gen III specified with a rugged-computer manufacturer. The Gen IV operator station weighed 16.5 lb and drew 500 W, with a 17.3-inch 1080p screen and a GTX 980; the Gen 5 build of December 2016 used a Mini-ITX case and a GTX 1080.
